Continuation of research on Blackpool

Upon deciding that I wanted to build on my project Facades from last semester, I looked further into the levels of deprivation and wondered how people were affected there compared to other more fortunate areas.


It was at this point when prices started to increase, one reason being the war that broke out between Ukraine and Russia leading to the UK no longer being supplied gas, amongst other things, from Russia. Prices of fuel, food, gas, and electricity were just some of the things that started to become increasingly more expensive due to lack of supply and high demand. This only made me wonder even more how the people of Blackpool, living in England’s most deprived area, would be affected by inflation.
